The import wizard is a powerful yet simple tool you can use to get your contacts into Text Anything. It supports CSV files and allows you to import up to 100,000 contacts at a time. The Import / Update utility allows you to upload, delete or mass update contacts.
Uploading
In the “Contacts” tab, in the bottom right you will see “Import / Update Contacts.” Drag your CSV file to the import wizard landing area. Once the file is uploaded the “Next” button will be accessible. On the next screen you will see the mapping from your CSV to Text Anything contact fields. Most of the fields should auto-map, however you many need to manually map some fields.
Updating Contact Records
To update contact records, first export contacts using the “Export Contacts” button. This will export all the contacts in your organization. Then edit those records however you wish and then use the “Update Existing Records” option. You can match the records you wish to update by the phone number or the record ID. We recommend using the record ID.
Deleting Contacts
Similar to how you update records, first export your contacts. To delete records you need only use the record ID and select the “Delete Contacts” option.
